Several TIA members received broadcast media exposure earlier this summer when TIA trend experts promoted outdoor toys and games on local segments that aired in New York City, Washington, DC and Hartford, CT. Videos of Fun Toys for Up & Active Play (FOX 5 DC), This Year’s Hottest Outdoor Toys (WNBC New York) and Toys for Outdoor Fun (FOX CT) are now available for viewing on TIA’s YouTube Channel.
Many additional member companies and their products were also recently promoted in slideshows and articles in the Cool Toy Picks, Movies, and News sections of ToyInfo.org.
“We are always looking for new products to feature and encourage toy companies to reach out to our team so that we can continue to promote the great work of our members and share the latest and greatest toys and games with consumers and journalists on an ongoing basis,” said Adrienne Appell, TIA senior manager of public relations.
Association members interested in being featured on ToyInfo.org are encouraged to consult the 2014 Editorial Calendar, which highlights topics based on the changing seasons, major holidays, current toy trends, blockbuster licensing opportunities, and more.
The TIA trends team is also regularly called upon to participate in national and local broadcast segments promoting everything from holiday favorites to outdoor and active toys. Members are encouraged to submit information about new product releases to TIA year-round so that the trends team can keep tabs on potential products for future media opportunities.
