For the first time in show history, Toy Fair has sold out of exhibit space. More than 1,000 fast-acting exhibitors from the U.S., Canada and abroad made sure to submit their booth applications before the holidays in order to secure their spots at the largest toy marketplace in the Western Hemisphere,” said Marian Bossard, TIA senior vice president of global market events. “With tens of thousands of visitors expected from around the world, Toy Fair ’15 is sure to be a whirlwind of energy, activity and product innovation!”
Equivalent in size to more than seven football fields, this year’s expanded show floor will be teeming with hundreds of thousands of innovative new toys, games and youth entertainment products. Buyers, licensors, entertainment executives and other play professionals from 100 countries will be on-hand to scout toy trends, spot unique product lines and brands, and write orders for 2015. Buyer delegations from dozens of major global retail outlets are already registered to attend, including Toys‘R’Us, CVS, Walmart, Target, Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble and Hobby Lobby, with many more registrants expected to pour in over the coming weeks.
“Toy Fair has it all, whether you are looking to broker lucrative business deals, network with peers from around the world, take in the latest toy trends, or participate in business-building seminars,” stated Carter Keithley, TIA President & CEO. “We look forward to unveiling the boundless creativity and innovative spirit of the North American toy industry at Toy Fair 2015!”
Companies that would like to be placed on the wait list are encouraged to submit an application as soon as possible; they will be notified as space becomes available. Wait-listed companies are under no financial obligation; rather, they are simply indicating their interest in exhibiting at the show.
